The Artist - Myenia
During my freshman year of college, a friend of mine introduced me to www.deviantart.com, where I was captivated by what people could create, particularly digitally. I received my first tablet in September 2005, and I began to use all my spare time to learn art. I later began working to improve on traditional medias, and now mainly work in guache, watercolor, or acrylics.
I am from the northern parts of Houston, and currently live in Lenexa, Kansas. I graduated from University of North Texas, double majoring in tuba performance and music education. Art exists in my life as something between a hobby and a career; it is something I take very seriously but do not exclusively do for a living. I am not happy unless I am working on a project, and I feel that art was a blessing, giving me something productive to do when I came to college. The majority of the work I do (and the work I enjoy) is anthropomorphic or fantasy art, but I have done large scenic paintings, corporate illustrations, advertising, and game illustration. I am also the creator and one of the project managers of the Werewolf Calendar, and I hope to create more projects in the future.

I put a lot of time and effort into my art, so please respect the following.
- You may use my art on your website, but don’t edit it or remove the copyright, and please have a link back to my site. Don’t link from my site or use my bandwidth.

- You may copy my art for practice, don’t post it as your own art without my copyright on it. Whether you physically drew it or not, it is not your pose, your colors, or your anatomy skills.

- Of course you may save my art to your computer for personal enjoyment.
